I disagree with calling A.I. a "tool". A tool expands the options a human has, it allows them to do what wasn't possible. A.I. is quite literally meant to be a replacement.
Automating "art" takes away some of the joy to be had from the act. To be able to contribute to society is a fufilling and motivating feeling. To take away their purpose is dehumanizing. Like with the car replacing the horse to only be limited to a few acts, for humans this is not ideal.
