It’s 2055 and you’ve just called for a Waymo. Your boss asked you to stay late and your son is at home sick. You quickly put away your papers, close your laptop for the day and pray that you didn’t forget anything. The Waymo is here. You hop inside the and it’s quiet just like it is every time you get inside. You began your silent journey, looking down at your phone texting your wife. You’re so accustomed to this way of travel you that you don’t even realize that you’ve just took the wrong turn down an alley. Frantically texting your wife, you son’s fever is spiking and your assuring her that you’ll be there any moment. Suddenly, the door is locked, and the car is stopped. You try to open the doors, but the handles won’t let you out. You look at the screen in the front and it says welcome to your destination. You begin to smell toast. Next thing you know the entire front seat is engulfed in flames. You immediately wrap your shirt around your hand and try and bust out the window and realize that it’s tempered glass and there’s no escape. You accept your fate take a deep breath and close your eyes.
