the fact that people keep calling all of these software products "AI" despite the fact that LLM's are in NO way shape or form an ai... it's mind boggling. It has been independently shown that LLM's dont have any form of internal perception, nor understanding. They are only very sophisticated autocomplete apps and the thought process that justifies hyperscaling these platforms is like saying " I've got an old farm tractor. it only has two wheels providing power. Now, wheels make things go faster. So, i'm going to keep stacking more and more wheels off the back axle so it will go faster. Eventually it will go so fast that it will go as fast as an airplane and THAT means that i will have a tractor that can FLY!".....ridiculus
