AI has nothing to do with making the world a better place it has to do with creating the perfect cheap workforce. It is a complete falsehood, however, because robots are both costly and limited. This is just a great way to make people who are considered low-level workers unemployed. Where robots need to be used are in the areas where a human is either unable to do it or for to dangerous for them work in. For example a good place to start would be with automated monitoring off shore oil wells, space exploration, monitoring nuclear waste facilities, or monitoring volcanoes, and other dangerous things like that.
