I was just thinking, perhaps the events of Covid/lockdown gives some very basic indications of the effects of A.I. on employment,. If you still got up every day and went to work then your job is probably relatively safe in the immediate future. If you worked from home then chances are you'll be replaced by A.I. relatively soon. If you were furloughed indefinitely then your job may become superfluous, whether it's replaced by A.I. or not. It depends where in your career you might find yourself, but it could be worth you seeking a plan B.
