It is a tool. Use it as such. Use it to get things done faster, not be the end all be all of the art piece. Let me make an analogy. You could take thousands of pieces of cellophane and hand paint a character doing a silly dance, then walking off screen. Or you could use ToonBoom, draw the character once, rig it, and then animate it doing the exact same dance and walk cycle. But instead of it taking 3 months to complete this animation, it took you 3 hours. You use AI to assist you. Not to replace you. The ones who retain no creative expression beyond their prompts, are the problem. They settle for good enough. A real artist can do spectacular things with AI if they choose to be creative with it, not lazy. It's a time-saver, not an artist.
