The biggest risk in the next few years are evangelists of AI gaining more political and economic power... it doesn't matter if an AI *COULD* be high-court judge, they patently should not be used for such things. But I fear sooner or later we'll be subject to authoritarian decisions made for us by AI systems embeded into the state more and more.
The economics of AI is such that it is being proloferated at a huge loss, ... We are benefiting from borrowed computational capital based on a promise, trained on stolen data.
