I remember when people used to panic about TV and video games — violence, misinformation, “rotting your brain,” all of that. Every generation has its moral panic. Back then it was cartoons and consoles. Now it’s AI slop. The pattern hasn’t changed, just the technology.
Kids adapt to whatever era they’re born into. They grow up with the new thing, learn its language, and move on. It’s the adults who struggle, because every new wave feels like a threat to the world they understood. So instead of panicking, maybe adults need to learn to relax a little. Not everything new is a crisis. Sometimes it’s just the next version of the same cycle we’ve been repeating for decades.
