This may be a sign that we need a mean of distribution of the gains of production thats not only tide to holding a job. Universal income could be a solution as it lest people still be a consumer. If you happen to get a job you would not lose the income it would just be added to what you make from job. The gains from automation would ba what alow us to aford such a setup.
