So the solution to an AI dystopia is just to make AIs dumb? I think not. Not only is this impossible to prevent (whos gonna convince OpenAI not to) but we will probably need ASI to solve specific challenges in humanity that would normally take us hundreds of years. Take biological research for instance, we can and should do everything we can to limit biological disabilities and challenges.
The solution is probably to make laws and regulations that keep humans relavent. Not to mention a UBI and thousands of unemployed workers would probably mean totalitarianism and suicide all over the place.
