I wish that we had tweaked the incentives around capital and labor years ago. We punish labor (tax it) and reward capital (many ways to park capital and avoid taxes) and have allowed capital to accumulate to the point where Elon Musk could build xAI from scratch and create the largest AI cluster in the world in about a year. When capital makes labor all-but-obsolete, the tax base is gone, people have no way to earn a living and bad things that we can't yet imagine may come to pass. The Gini scores will approach 1 and society will struggle to hold together.
