its such a short-sighted profit-only mentality, though. if 90% of the jobs are done by AI, you're not just tanking the job market. your tanking the value of currency. if unemployment jumps to some insane number across the entire states, there's gonna be a lot of angry people willing to do something about it. and the only ones they have to hate are the uber-rich. they have to know that.
its already an extreme stretch of wealth disparity as it is. with the few having the majority of the money. if that gets bad enough, the entire market tanks. their money no longer means anything.
