This has nothing to do with AI and everything to do with 30 years of rampant H-1B visas undermining the middle class job market and rampant illegal immigration coupled with a policy where 1 legal immigrant can sponsor in a family of 5 or 10 which undermined the lower income job market.
The reason you can’t find a job is because there’s more supply of labor than demand.
But the employers change their lies from there being a worker shortage to there being a skill gap because even $0 isn’t low enough for them when it comes to paying for staff
