Art usually starts out funny looking. One of my very first styles was making hands really large with bush shaped fingers. That was from when I was in Kindergarten. I'm in my Sophmore year of High school as of making this comment. And I stopped drawing for a long time. But then one day I got the idea to draw badge concpets for the Roblox game Pressure. And it spiraled into something that 6 year old me would never think was possible, that might be an overstatement. But you know what I mean. Your abilities only get better the more you work on your skills and the more you learn. An AI can't truely capture a single persons art style. And if so it's almost always off. So, is art something that you're gifted with? No. Is it hard to pick up a pencil? If you're disabled, then probably. But I am amazed at the people with disabilities that can make art. I'm still not too good. But it's way better then I thought it could be 2 years ago. Hell, I have a classmate working on a really short animation with their oc if I'm correct. He has done an amazing job on it. It's only like a few seconds long. But still insane. They're way better then I am at art. And I still get my notebook out to make stuff because it's fun. Now back to my question. Is art something that you're gifted with from birth? No, if you give a kid a crayon, that kid will still most likely scribble on a paper with it. Is that art? Yeah, it is art. Unless little Timmy ate his crayons or stuck the crayon up his nose. A scribble and a fully drawn character are both art. So please try and do art if you can. It's really fun :)
