The question is not will it. It's only a matter of when.
Dont get me wrong, i am an artist too. I draw traditionally and digitally both. Have done so for 10 years. But AI is still a human creation. It has progressed from abominations to somewhat usable stuff. How many years will it take to produce the artificial "soul" we have no idea but it will happen someday.
Maybe it'll be used as an assistance tool for artists, maybe it will be an artist itself. No idea. Only time will tell.
What i do not like is the people who use AI "artists" who create slop. Not the AI itself.
