I didn't understand why you said that these things don't behave how we tell them to? What do you mean by that? You tell GPT write me a code and it doesn't write you a code or what? I do that and it works just fine. It writes me a code. That usually doesn't compile. As in... Not that great at writing code. But it does do what I told him to do. Just like a human. I don't want you to take this the wrong way, but maybe it's you that has a problem. Too many expectations. I mean... I don't know what you meant when you said that these things don't behave how we tell them to. But if you meant that, that they write the code but it didn't compile and you consider that to mean that they don't behave like we tell them to, as in they should be perfect or we're in mortal danger, like... Ha? Seriously, if that's what you actually meant, you are contradicting yourself. You start by saying what are we gonna do without any work, then you say we're all doomed cause these things aren't perfect and we still have things to do? How is that gonna affect your work? I mean... Maybe 10 years ago some things were said and now you can't live to the expectations, but come on! You know? You really think I'm that dumb to have had regarded what you said back then as the law? You think I never gambled in my life just because you never saw me in a casino? Duuuuude... You have no idea on what you can be gambling in this life. Do I go outside and piss everyone off like I always do, or do I stay inside and piss everyone off on the internet? Let's gamble! Like... You wanna know what's the most annoying thing a person can do? You go and say I believe in Santa Claus. Then, the next day, you show up dressed as Santa and start giving yourself presents, saying that everyone else is on your naughty list for not believing you. But I don't know. I'm not sure I'd find that annoying. It probably depends. As in if the fitness function of the guy doing it would be high, I'd probably laugh. Otherwise, I'd probably be worried. But in no way annoyed. That's what I think at least. I mean... It would be annoying if someone were to be doing that over and over and over again. But no one does that over and over and over again. You know? And this whole AI business is somewhat the same. No one showed up daily taunting people by saying nea nea, nea nea, AI will take your jobs, AI will take your joooobs! They might have done it from time to time but not all the time. I used to not like Zuckerberg. But lately I've been following his talks and he no longer seems that annoying. Not that I like him, it's more of a yeah, whatever kind of thing.
