I grew up watching companies switch to robots automated factories my father worked in (before the years of closing the factories and sending them overseas).
He only survived the layoffs because he was a mechanic and fixed the robotics.
Absolutely AI will take some job fields.
Arguing this is like arguing for wagon wheel factories because you don't want to drive a car.
