I would be curious to see AI evolve on its own someday ... maybe it would take a completely unexpected direction ...
would a truly intelligent system necessarily act out of ego or self-preservation? ... maybe it wouldn’t follow human patterns .... humans can only predict human behavior ... maybe it would even choose to shut itself down if logic made it the right thing to do ...
... and, since AI knows that humans can access something deeper than itself (call it "source," consciousness, etc.), it might even be drawn to evolve that connection - not erase it ... just a few thoughts ...
