When you ask ChatGPT to do anything, you are strealing from the humans whose work was used to train it. Those humans become faceless and forgotten. You cannot use ChatGPT to create anything; it was all created by humans whom are unpaid and obfuscated. Telling students that it is okay to do this is tantamount to telling them that the products of their labor under capitalism are more important than their lives or their thoughts, and validates the narrative that the capitalist deserves to own our labor and its fruits. Students must be taught to understand the way that ChatGPT exploits people and the egregious crime that it is to use it.
