The biggest difference between Artists and "AI-Artists" has always been intention. Illustrators especially have full control over every artistic decision they make. An AI-Artist has very little to no control.
Those prompts they claim are a representation of their creative thoughts don't take into account the linework, the composition, the specific shades of colour, the random design choices the AI just adds. Those who claim that the AI work is "exactly how they envisioned it" are lying to themselves through sheer confirmation bias.
