The only dark side of A.I. is human interference and competition. The more you try to limit it, the more people will go behind other's back and keep their progress in the dark. This is not sentient A.I., we're hundreds of years away from that. Look at this piece of technology as a comparison to the space race. Once we've reached a certain level, it will just stay there and be a part of everyday life.
