This is why all I use it for is learning concepts
For example, I've been using Unity C# for 4 years but felt really up to trying C++ so one of the first things I did was dick about in a Visual Studio C++ Console app project template until I hit a roadblock. Then asked ChatGPT to explain and summarise what the error means, and the concepts around it. This just essentially is like a more concise Google search and has worked an absolute charm for me! But I'd never ever use it to generate code I intend to copy paste into my work. I may ask for an example usage of a programming concept, but then I just take what that taught me and apply it myself
