It's not a threat to established artists but it's a threat to the new ones. The market was already oversaturated, and now you have to compete with hundreds and hundreds of AI-generated works. It takes at least one year to write a good book (if you have other jobs apart from writing), and writers who use AI can make a book in a few days.
