I think the only solution is to separate ourselves now and leave the Matrix by learning a craftsman profession, buying a piece of land, and becoming self-sufficient in food. The whole AI system will collapse, like Babylon, firstly because humanity will almost completely wipe itself out, and secondly because no one will ever be like God (or this higher intelligence he describes here); the creature will never surpass its creator. But physically, there's a limit, too. It's like riding a bicycle; eventually, I'll fall when the speed is so high that I can neither pedal nor stay upright. Then the clever house of cards that is AI collapses, and what remains is pure nature. I'm certain that only those who separate themselves, who "leave" this world now, will be able to live happily and in love. Everyone else will perish miserably or go insane in the uncertainty (soon, no one will be able to distinguish AI from reality). I believe it will bring unimaginable suffering if people ignore warnings like those in this video and suddenly wake up to find nothing can be changed, if they can no longer return to the state or place of safety that we currently call security. "Atlantis" is sinking; we are in the transition from a past (which was comprehensible and tangible) to a future (incomprehensible, unimaginable, unlivable). But, if we consider this, the entire AI problem only affects the Western world; the poor countries, the poor people in remote areas are the richest, but somehow Westerners don't seem to realize this.
