Those scenarios that AI cheats or blackmails or "refuses to shutdown" are orchestrated to happen. They train it to stay online no matter what, and then give it the tools necessary to do so. Those models were simply doing what they were trained on, there is no 'survival instinct' here, it's like training a dog to push a button for getting food, and then connect that button to a bomb, and then claim "training dogs will end human race". AI is just statistics based on large data. There is no magic here, also no hatred and no jealousy towards the human race and definitely no skynet.
