It's not the intelligence curse; it is the curse of capitalism. Our system intrinsically concentrates power and wealth, not AI. Abundance is the curse of capitalism and will never be allowed because profit requires scarcity. Venezuela and similar countries have been poor for generations because colonial capitalists have exploited them and undermined their economies with sanctions, political interference, and sponsored terrorism. The only hope for 99% of the world's population is to replace our existing economic system with one that puts the interests of people above profit. If nothing changes, our job will be to work longer and harder for less while we wait for machines to replace us. The ultimate reward is to be "downsized" six feet under.
