AI is going to be the snake that eats itself, insofar as the economy is still reliant on consumer spending, which will collapse with large scale unemployment. Not to mention the exorbitant energy requirements of these data centers — projected to need a power generation capacity increase of 40 Seattles over the next 5+ years.
