I don't think that is a problem with ChatGPT. 5 years ago, when I was starting, there were a lot of people starting frontend straight from React, or starting Python backend with Django, without knowing what a tuple is. Still, they were able to pass the interviews somehow and get some jobs. So ChatGPT is not the issue here; the issue is the people's laziness and wish to get a top-paid job without any effort, using shortcuts.
