Artists copy art styles and take inspiration all the time and now that AI is doing they get mad. What makes them think the AI experiment will be stopped just for them and not for literally every other job that is on that path. I used to have some respect for artists but after this whole protest it makes me hate them as they are willing to stop reaching new advancements just because the art AI is generating is going to be far better than them
