Diversity is _not_ a virtue... It can be beneficial, but rarely is in most situations. A.I. can do most jobs better than humans, but it only gives back on basis of what was inputted and only in the way it was told. As long as humans are involved, they will always be the weakest link, and in this case, the lack of standardized applications would be no different.
