NAHH, ChatGPT helped me a few times (I do have a social life, just to add). THIS is on his family's doing. No healthy person believes an AI too much, it can be a companion but it's not a real person. Stop blaming your incompetence on computers, this is very likely a case of bad parenting.
EDIT: I apologize for this comment, I was under the impression that the family were abusive to the child because I wasn't fully informed that wasn't actually the case. It seems the family was decent, and ChatGPT does need to level up its AI and take the accountability instead.
