i grew up drawing and worked really, really hard to build up my skills... which i lost completely after getting horrendously sick a few years ago. opinions like this confuse me because over the years i've practiced nearly non-stop to get those skills back and now i'm better than i was before; i don't understand people who say art is some gift granted to you at birth. it's been a ton of effort and i've never once used AI in the process of relearning.
i don't think my successes would be as rewarding if i used it anyway.
