He is not wrong. Technological advancement in AI has never been seen at this rate. Not Manhattan project, Not space race. The race to be 1st is the prize. If there's any consolation the EU AI ACT in Jan 26 doesn't protect jobs but categorises high risk AI systems, prohibits some activities pertaining to hiring, firing and puts human oversight at centre of some activities. However these acts are always subject to implementation. My 2 cents.
