Personally I think that it's far more likely that society collapses and enters a second Great depression due to a lack of men still present in society then it is that AI will actually become successful...
In my view either the AI bubble pops; or society enters a massive second Great depression because it doesn't have enough men left to sustain it because we all left and AI doesn't even get the chance to burst on its own... That or the end times as described in the book of Revelations in the Bible happens before either of those; which personally I think it's probably going to happen after because the Bible does warn that prior to the tribulations there is going to be quite a few things and the only one of those that has not already happened is famines and a second Great depression would absolutely cause a famine and the AI bubble bursting and the entire industry collapsing would absolutely cause a famine because people wouldn't have jobs....
