My opinion on AI is based on my experience with making a call to a business and being helped by a phone operator vs calling a business today and getting a Robot. I have found that I miss being able to save time, and having less stress in my day by simply calling and getting a receptionist at a business, and my call being passed on to the relevant person, in the past, versus now a days when I have to go through a robot and answer stupid repetitive questions, and then after several minutes either get routed to a wait for yet a human that will ask the same questions as the robot and then route you to maybe the relevant person, or a further wait time. As far as I'm concerned I feel abused and customer service has suffered to the point that I consider contacting anyone today for business, or health purposes, etc., a nuisance, a time waster, that causes stress instead of helps, often listening for many, many minutes, to all the different departments that I will have to choose from in order to "maybe" get the proper help. This was never the case back when... Therefore, I hate AI.
