I guess the "overestimation" AI will wipe us out has to do with the fact Informatics people have to deal the first time with this issue. If you think of Chemistry, it can wipe us out. Think of FPAS, chemical weapons, etc. Biologists. Same potential as demonstrated with COVID. Physics, Atomic Bomb, Fusion Reaction. ....
