I think we are much further away from all of this than he presents. Automatization of everything is going to be too expensive. It is not like they are not going to raise a price on AI itself if they see that people really need it. Our greed will prevent the AI happening too quickly. Right now, AI is too stupid btw. I work with it every day, and it is just a bit better than a human when it comes to mistakes. It operates faster. Now another point, if nobody can buy anything because they don't have an income, then there is no reason for these manufacturing companies even to exist. it's catch 22. You need humans to consume in order for companies to keep producing. Moreover, none of these people drove through the roads in the US even? Our bridges are falling apart too. Self driving vehicles will not be able to drive on the road we have now, and who is going to pay for the new ones?
