My son brought a paper to me that he had written for an upper level college class. He is an excellent writer, with an extensive vocabulary. He was baffled because His “AI” check (almost all professors use an AI and a plagiarism check) said it was 100% AI. It wasn’t. I tried really “dumbing it down” and that worked enough for it to pass the “AI” test. WTH does that even mean? Any intelligent writing will now be deemed to be AI? I am baffled.
