The thing that frustrates me most about these conversations is how little we focus on the actual humans creating both AI and the hype around it.
This guy slips in anthropomorphisms without even realizing it, and we accept it because we have brains that want to anthropomorphize patterns.
We are living today while this stuff is being created. We’re not looking back on our ancestors going boy I wish they’d done something differently. We are the ancestors. We don’t get to pass the buck. This stuff isn’t inevitable. Please stop talking like it’s already a runaway train and the human creators aren’t in the room.
