I support leading the world in AI, because if we don’t, China will. It’s essentially a new Cold War or space race, only the goal this time is AI. However, we don’t have the infrastructure to support it. Our power grid is already overtaxed, and we’re being hit with outlandish utility bills while seeing none of the benefits. We should keep embracing AI, but the way we’re going about it needs to change.
