I have a legitimate question for y'all, and I'm wondering what your opinion is. There's a YouTube channel I found recently that uses AI in his video creation process. The scripts are fully human-written; he uses an AI image generator for the original images then refines them through re-generations and Photoshop; he uses his own voice plus another AI voice creation tool to create the sounds; he uses an AI-based motion capture software to animate and lip-sync the images; and then edits them himself in Premiere. I've seen a lot of people basically saying this guy is one of the few people who use AI as a tool in their repertoire to further their own creativity, rather than using it to generate raw content. Some have even said they typically hate AI stuff but enjoy the series he has made. What would y'all think of this sort of thing? Is this a more gray area, or is it just as bad as the AI art thieves talked about in this video?
