Assuming things go right with AI, I think the answer to the question about what world would you want your children to live in is: everyone's basic needs are taken care of from the abundance of label AI and robots can do. All food, healthcare, housing, etc. are taken care of for everyone. Now, the essential "problem" for humans is to become wise, compassionate, peaceful inside themselves. The human challenge is to become aware, to wake up. This is how humans spend their time. The one's that succeed will both live healthy lives and also not be concerned about the lack of work and economic sturggle or the AI care taker.
