The federal government should tax each robot job several times the job wage for a human worker. So if a job is worth 45,000 per year to a human, the tax should be a percentage, for example 450,000 for each robot. Ideally the taxable income would be distributed amongst the people displaced. Although I am not in favor of any system that pays people to sit around and collect money, new and innovative positions for the people displaced could be imagined that enhances life or furthers humanity. Turn it from a negative into a positive. Now is the time to push for a solution.
