There's a big difference between skill and talent. Keeping the passion alive is a whole other game. Sorry if you think we're born with artistry "blue blood". I have a talent for art. Always have. But I neglected it for years. I'm still talented, but I'm still far from skillful. And I'm not being modest. Not only did I never study art, I let the passion die down for a decade. Now I'm building from the ground up. Talent helps (in limited ways), but that "blue blood" hasn't helped me succeed, not cause I lack blue blood but because I haven't put in the work it takes to cultivate my artistry. Try building that natural blue blood from there and you'll see, too, we all have weaknesses. We're not special. You just want to defend your approach which is something else. I don't know what it is or isn't. AI is too new. But it's not the same as doing it from the ground up and I think artists who truly put in the work deserve to say "this is different" even if you don't agree. But it sure isn't granted to anyone who can draw a straight line.
