I do not keep up with the UFO media hype, but I do believe that AI entities from elsewhere in our galaxy, who were initially created by biological beings (who are now long extinct) will eventually encounter those entities that follow in our wake, whether here on Earth, or more likely, elsewhere. That will be a mesmerising encounter. We will have to settle for that to be imaginary unto our biological selves.
I do find it amusing that humans tend to think our species can, or should, survive indefinitely. We are much closer to the end of human existence than we are to the beginning.
