The documentary gave me the feeling to be made so you take a negative stance regarding tech surveillance, but that is like saying that the police or the army are intrinsically "bad". Somebody might feel watched with so many cameras and an AI that knows who you are, but that is good if that person is a pedophile, abuser, future murderer... or any kind of criminal; in the video you just see a guy not wearing helmet or throwing trash in the street, but could be used for catching someone carrying a gun, molotov or drugs; even behaviours like pushing his wife or smacking his son might indicate problems at home, for which you will want to know the address of that person, or driving erratically might indicate a drunk driver or a health problem... or a group of guys with swasticas following a guy with a kippah... I think that, living in a free and democratic society, a surveillance state can be a way to the future.
