I've already cried. I've already thought about options for finding jobs in other sectors. I've already imagined a thousand bad things. Yes, I agree 100% that we shouldn't take AI seriously. But at the same time, we're losing our jobs. And they're treating IT professionals like robots that can be thrown in a landfill. I'm feeling terrible, especially because I was fired after a burnout. I worked hard and gave my best, but even so, I was treated as if I were worthless. This has really left me vulnerable and I'm very tired. Especially because I can't explain to my family what's happening. I see my family giving me advice, without understanding anything about the field, and I only get more frustrated. I'm trying to study to stay calm. But this whole situation is awful. I feel like we're living in a world where dogs are worth more than some people. I feel like a subspecies.
