I personally dont really mind the existence of AI art, but i totally understand why this 'poisoning' is necessary.
Because taking someone art for ur AI, without asking them is just theft.
and sadly the people running the AI generator thingies dont have the honesty and respect for artist that they should.
Therefore Ai art is bad, but because of the people running it, not the concept of it itself.
In an ideal world ais would only be trained with art, that the artist allowed to be used for such things.
But since such expectations are impossible, this is the next best option.
Edit: I wrote this comment before watching the video or reading other comments, so i wasnt really informed about others opinions on this, and i totally agree that AI Art specifically shouldnt exist, other forms of ai still can be very helpful
