It is a very difficult task for humans to properly judge distance in the dark when you only have the approaching lights as reference as you don't know how close together they are to each other so it can be challenging to judge how far away they are. A motorcycle with only one Light is even worse. Leaving this task to AI is just plain stupid and dangerous.
