A luddite is not someone who is just "anti-technology", it's about being anti-automation through new technology mainly in the sense that it can take your job or reduce your pay. In reference to the original luddites who were textile workers who fought against automated machines in the textile industry. Comparing it to not wanting a computer virus or you using digital tools is disingenuous, you can still use technology and still be a luddite if you oppose new technology related to automation.
